The course structure is comprehensive, split across three units. The first unit offers an in-depth understanding of essential legislation related to occupational safety and health. The second unit focuses on hazardous agents, their potential risks and how to manage them effectively in a workplace environment. The third unit covers equipment safety and general workplace safety, training participants to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

DI2: Controlling workplace health issues

DI3: Controlling workplace safety issues

Assessments:

DI1: Assignment. Approx. 40-hours to complete

DI2: Case study. Approx. 20-hours to complete

DI3: Case-study. Approx 20-hours to complete

Assessment for the NEBOSH International Diploma (NEBOSH IDIP) is carried out via a workplace assignment and two case studies. These practical evaluations provide participants with the opportunity to apply the knowledge they've acquired during the course, demonstrating their proficiency in managing occupational safety and health risks.

The NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma is equivalent to a UK degree with full honours. According to the National Qualifications Framework, completing the NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals equates to a full UK bachelor's degree. Upon completion of the course learners can apply for IOSH membership.
